Understanding men

Do you think the way a guy hugs you says something about how he feels towards you? For example: when I hug some of my guy friends, they hug me like we are just that - friends. Meaning, their hands don't go any lower than the middle of my back. I've had some guys hug me and when they hug their hands are on, or closer to my lower back. One friend in particular does this, especially when we go dancing, I usually find his hand closer to my butt. What do you think? Could that mean that they like you?
