He could either be trying to be supportive of your right to choose or he could be trying to get out of responsibility and it's hard to know without context and tone. And with such an important topic, you dont want to be misunderstanding each other

I honestly feel like he’s taking into consideration your feelings . He didn’t say he wanted an abortion he asked what you wanted and by your response he gave an option. Now has he just said look I’m not ready I’ll pay for an abortion then that’s different but you know him better than us.

When I first got pregnant. My bf at the time told me the same thing. I told him I didn’t want a baby, but I didn’t want an abortion. And adoption wasn’t an option. I was scared. I was only 19. He told me he didnt want a baby either. I told him I had decided to keep the baby, he wasn’t happy. So I left him. I did the whole 27 weeks of pregnancy on my own. My son ended up not making it full term due to many defects he had since conception. My advice is, embrace this baby, it’s scary, but it’ll be worth it. You’ll grow to love that little bean everyday that passes. 💜 and once daddy sees how excited you truly end up being, he will be too

I would do what I felt I needed to do and was best for me and baby. And if that means raising a baby alone then by golly I’m raising MY baby alone and loving it with all I got. Even the most prepared of parents still have fears and get scared. It’s a whole new life you’re bringing into this world. But I also don’t know how old y’all are and that can play a large role as well to your fears and such depending if you’re young or not.
