Uti negative test?

I get uti’s pretty common. I have been feeling like I had one for a couple days and went to get tested yesterday. It came back negative. I told her I was in a lot of pain and she said she would send it to the lab to see. That’s all. As time goes on it is getting so much worse. It’s becoming unbearable. It burns so bad when I use the bathroom and after for a long time. It hurts to sit and stand! Anyone else have this issue of a negative uti test and felt like they really had one?
