He's pushing me away

My bf and I've been together for like 7 months. Two weeks ago his sister was diagnosed with breast cancer. After this sad news my bf started to feel weak, with headaches, with nauseas. We used to go to his house every Sunday night. Or when he gets off early from work. Everything changed😢 I texted him a while ago asking if I could spend the afternoon with him he said he wasn't feeling good. I was like dude everything's fckn changing, tell me right now if we keeping things this way. I feel you're pushing me away! So he goes, if I don't feel good doesn't mean I don't want to be with you, I love you and hope you understand me.
