Should I go?

Question

My stepdad wants to go to midnight mass tomorrow, but it’s not a Baptist thing so I don’t know if I should go,even though I want to see my step siblings and step nieces. Should I go? It’s a Roman Catholic, Lutheran, and Anglican thing. I want to go to see them, I am religious, but I’m Baptist would it be ok to go?.Step dad is catholic btw as is his whole family

There’s nothing wrong with going to a Catholic mass if you’re not Catholic. Just be respectful of the mass and customs and no one will care. Lots of people go as guests of parishioners and at the church I go to we have an atheist come to every Sunday mass purely because he enjoys listening to our priest. I’ve attended other Christian denomination services in the past with friends that are a different denomination to me. I’ve gone to different religious events as well with friends who wanted me to experience their celebrations. 
Going to a Catholic mass doesn’t make you Catholic nor does it take away from our own beliefs. If you feel comfortable going then go and see your family. It’s not disrespectful or anything like that, you’d be very welcome to attend I’m sure!

I think when it comes to that stuff you need to just think about yourself and what feels right for you. 
I’m not religious at all, I live in Canada so that’s more common here, but if we ever stayed with my brother in laws family in the states we wouldn’t go to any church related activity with them. We would just politely decline.

If you want to go then go. Be respectful as you would in your own church. You’re not renouncing any of your own faith by visiting another church.

I'm not religious at all and I go to church with my grandma and grandpa, I think youd be fine if you went. Go, have fun with your family :)
