Merry Christmas & I’m sorry for this

Merry Christmas!!!

Okay so obviously

It’s Christmas

I’m feeling a bit down today

My husband and I decided not to get gifts for anyone as finances are a bit tight

Except of course for the kids.

Well, we are both trying to quit smoking so I went out and got us both new vales to assist with the transition.

Now I know Christmas is about gifts but we’re currently at my MIL home and he just gave him dad a gift card to somewhere

I didn’t even know he’d purchased anything

And a few days ago he goes out and buys a gift “something useful” for his friend and S.O.

I just can’t help feeling a bit upset about that ..I mean if he could get those things for them. And spend money

He couldn’t have gotten me a card or something ??

I mean am I being extra ?

If I would like an entitled brat or something

I’m really sorry I just don’t understand this is the second year like this and I’m just not feeling “Loved”

Idk if that’s the right thing to say or if important is what I mean..
