Possible miscarriage?

The other day I started my period, it's always pretty heavy at the beginning and then lightens up. I pulled my tampon out and there was this whitish, greyish thing on it. It didn't look like a blood clot it was thick and kinda rubbery. A couple days before I started my period I took the morning after pill. Did I miscarry or is that kind of blood clot normal?
