Spotting after sex?

So I didn’t have sex with my boyfriend for about a month and my last period ended last week. We had sex, a little rough, but nothing i’m not used to.

About an hour later, I notice that it doesn’t feel too good down there. I go to the bathroom, wipe, and notice some spotting on the toilet paper. This went on a couple hours later and stopped. I kept making my way to the bathroom every now and then just to check on the spotting.

I’m not too worried, but i’m just curious if this has happened to anyone else? I’m thinking either too rough of sex or it’s just because I haven't been active for about a month?
