Am I just freaking myself out?

For the last 2 days I've been sick and my boyfriend has been taking care of me, but today he's been carrying his phone wherever he goes (in the house) When he needs to call someone he goes outside, when we were laying down I was somewhat looking at his phone but not really cause we are watching a movie, He got a notification and it caught my attention when I turned a little bit he turned his phone to the side so I couldn't see then cleared it.

He put this like sleep thing on his phone ??? So no one can unlock it or see notifications till 8 tomorrow morning.
