Cloth diapers?

How many of you mommas currently cloth diaper or will be cloth diapering once baby is born?

I really, really want to! It seems really overwhelming though. There's so much to consider, I don't know which brand to choose or which works best. I very much want to use them though :)

Cloth diapers have come a long way. I've been chatting with some of the moms in the neighborhood and the consensus is that the Bumgenius brand is awesome. They are one-size too, so you won't have to keep purchasing the next size. They are on Amazon.

cloth diapers can be a pain depending on which type you're using, so if you do go that route make sure to research. It sounds silly but it will help in the long run

We have used cloth diapers for the first and will for the second. Best advice would be to try a few brands before you commit.

cloth diapers can be difficult if the baby has really really chubby thighs and pees a lot everytime they pee. They are more work. My niece peed a lot everytime so one layer wasn't enough she had to have 3 or 4 so she wouldn't pee through with each pee. She had big big thighs so the diapers made her thighs a lil red and when she was laying down she had a hard time crawling with the cloth diapers Some babies cloth diapers dont work so well for but other babies do great.

My mom used clothe for my sister at home and out he used disposable.
​I used disposable for my son, it was easier. Watching my sister was a pain in the butt hen she had to be changed cuz depending on which one you were putting on, it sometimes had a built in layer and someone's you had to add one, and then I you had to add one you also had to add the waterproof cover over the cloth diaper so it wouldn't leak through onto clothes or anything incase. Too much work and such a pain.
