Leaving soon.. any advice?

My baby is leaving for BMT soon in 2019... any advice from someone whose been through this? I’m kinda nervous with him going off. He’s joining the Marines.. 😭❤️ this is us.. 🥰

Mine left 6 weeks ago and at the beginning it was super hard but now it’s gotten ALOT easier and now we’re closer to seeing him than him being gone. Just keep busy and start to plan stuff cause it’ll make you excited for family day and graduation when you get to see your new Marine. One thing I’ve been doing is writing every single day and sending them, it makes the time go by fast and he really enjoys them cause he gets alteast one mail a day. I also write the date on the top so he knows, cause they don’t have any sense of day or time there. :)
