I was induced with my first and second, and it only took 3 hours, with both each time.

I was induced due to high blood pressure and quite a drop in baby’s growth percentiles at 38 +1, first started with gel; one at night, morning and then night again; waters broke naturally that night. Drip started next morning at 8am, contractions started to hurt around midday; baby born at 5pm. Active labour was short but getting to that stage took ages, even though he was my third. His sister and brother were both born at 39+4 naturally (12 1/2 and 6 hour labours, with short active labours) so maybe he just really tried to wait until then instead 😂

I know you said 2nd or 3rd
 But I was induced with my first and it was 5 days.. then she got stuck and had a c-section anyways. I will NOT induce Ever again. Worst  thing ever. Just my opinion. Every person I've met who's been induced ended with c-section.

My SIL got induced with her second baby, she got her first pill at midnight and had the baby at 11 something pm.
