3D ultrasound?

Were you offered a 3D ultrasound or did you have to request it? I have my 20 week ultrasound coming up and I forgot to ask if I’ll get a 3D one. I really want one but I’m afraid they won’t offer it.

Usually if it’s the anatomy scan, they normally just to 2D cause they are looking at everything. You may have to get an elective one and do a 3D

I got mine when I had my extra ultrasound done. We had to see if he had a physical deformity and also just got a 3D because the machine could honestly 😂❤️

Mine didn’t at 20 weeks but at my 32 week scan the tech did a 3D look, didn’t really show anything because my son had his face smushed up against me.

My ultrasound tech just did them so I could see babies features maybe yours will be nice enough to do that too but if not it never hurts to ask if you can see the baby in. 3D or if it will cost extra

Not usually offered at some places like where I am, but the lady I had knows my brother who works in the same hospital in radiology and she did one just cause.
