Like for real. I went in for my 18 week check up yesterday, all went well at first. She seemed to rush through the appointment though. She barely listened to the heartbeat, maybe for about 2 seconds. Then we talked about our anatomy scan coming up, we agreed weeks ago that we were going to wait until closer to 22 weeks because we both want the opportunity to be there because he’s away for work until at least mid January, well, come to find out she scheduled it for 20 weeks anyways. On top of that I asked about if there would be other opportunities to find out the gender should baby not cooperate during the ultrasound and she said no, because “it’s not that important, you’ll get what you get, just buy gender neutral because you won’t find out until it’s born if they can’t see it at the ultrasound”. I’m over this doctor. It’s frustrating because it is important to us, we want to know. I don’t know what to do 😞
