Be kind...
As we end our pregnancy journeys and begin our postpartum ones, can we please remember to be kind to one another and to ourselves. Especially when it comes to our postpartum bodies.
Postpartum can be a difficult time with its own struggles and challenges. There will be women whose bodies bounce back quickly, others will take months to feel normal again. Both are okay!
There will be those of us with colicky babies who are so exhausted that the idea of exercising seems completely absurd, and those who will post about the run they went on with their chill kiddo and cute running stroller. Both are okay!
There will be some women who find that breastfeeding burns crazy calories and the baby weight drops quickly, and for others breastfeeding will cause them to retain weight instead. Both are okay!
Let’s just all remember that no two journeys will be the same and a little support or a kind word can go a long way!
