Wait it out or take Progesterone?

Question

I just finished my first cycle of Clomid. The doctor said she didn't see any mature follicles and that I probably wouldn't ovulate (despite the OvaCue readings I was getting).

Now I'm CD30+ and I'm wondering if I should wait to get my period naturally or induce it with the hormones.

My doc always had me start taking Progesterone after the clomid.  That way, if I were pregnant it would help stop a miscarriage, but if I wasn't it would start my period.

I would take progesterone. The only way my cycle ever starts on it's own is if I ovulate, and I don't do that without a trigger shot
