Dating app recommendations....

So I kinda made a personal goal that if I didn’t hear from my ex by Christmas (he dumped me four months ago after almost 8years together) that I would try dating again to help get over him (since it’s been pretty rough trying to do that)

But, I’m just not sure what’s the best kind of app to use to find someone??? I haven’t been on a first date or met a guy since I was 16 so it’s strange to start this again...

Edit: thanks for the advice guys! Honestly, these are the first few people who have told me not to start dating. Everyone else in my life has been asking for the last three months whether I found someone else or if I went on any dates yet. But I’ll take everything you’ve said into consideration!
