If this helps.... my husband works in the military for 8 years now and I work at a child care place.... He obviously makes more than me but always throws in my face I don’t contribute enough. But I feel like I do put enough plus he always has enough money leftover to do whatever he wants and so do I but sometimes I get a little tight depending on what day of the month it is. I also already have to shop for my own food because he eats (healthier) different than me. And I’m the one who usually buys whatever it’s missing in the house like toilet paper, dishwashing soap, bounty and some other stuff that WE BOTH use.... And I honestly think a man should put more IF he has it of course because he’s the head of the household. I want to hear your input ladies please.
