Melanoma cancer?

I have had this for a very long time and am very concerned 
Do you think it could be melanoma?

You will never know unless you go to a dermatologist and get it tested.

Has it changed shape/color noticeably? Does it itch or hurt at all? Does it ever get scabby or bleed? It does have an odd shape but I don’t want to scare you and say it’s malignant.

I have a huge mole on the back of my calf... 
I put off going to the doctors for years! Until my Nan looked at it and immediately she knew something wasn’t quite right.
I finally get an appointment and had it removed. They did all types of tests and I finally found out that it was in the late stages of forming into something cancerous!
If your worried.. get it checked ASAP! Do not what like I did! 
* The picture is the scar I’m left with. Id rather have this than having to fear the worst *
