Very sharp pain that lasted a few of minutes

I'm 5ish weeks pregnant and I just experienced some really painful cramps in my lower abdomen (didn't feel like it was coming from a particular side at all). It came and went very quickly - within 10 minutes maximum. But the pain was so sharp that it caused me to vomit. I haven't been feeling nauseous with morning sickness so this was a bit of a shock.

After the pain and vomiting stopped I felt totally normal - how weird!

Had anyone experienced something like this before? What was your experience?
