Bad cramps a week before ovulation

Just looking for some opinions. Does anyone else get bad cramps that early? I normally dont start cramping until a few days before AF. Last month I tried geritol pills for the first time and then my period was a week late and only brown, I think towards the end it turned red for a bit but not long. I was thinking maybe the geritol threw my cycle off and I was having heavy implantation bleeding but the tests were all negative that I took at that time. I didn’t test after that because I figured I had my period and tests are negative so im not pregnant. But I never have cramps this early or this bad so not sure if I should see a doctor or could it just be because of the geritol?
