My OB said steak should always be well done. Which sucks to me because I think it isn’t worth it well done lol

I made a prime rib for Christmas dinner and I cooked it rare and Idgaf what anyone has to say about it. Good beef should never be cooked well done, you might as well heat up a leather shoe and eat it if you do that.

I did I think the general rule is no. solely because it can harm the baby IF you get food poisoning but being pregnant doesn’t increase your chance of getting food poisoning so I’ve eaten it pink a few time and me and baby are healthy so it’s a personal choice

The academic answer is no, it’s generally not safe. But there are a lot of pregnant people who eat “undercooked” steak (and eggs). It’s a personal decision you have to make.
