HELP!!!! First night transitioning to play pen

We had her in a rock and play primarily for a while. I was very careful with her, we never had any problems. She still has not rolled over. Tonight we are switching her to her play pen for sleeping. We have a crib, but it's enormous and until we move, we just don't have the room. I've tried this before several times but she would never go to sleep, she would just cry. But now that she is 4 months old, she is learning to self soothe. In the rock and play, i could put her down awake and she wouldn't even put up a fuss. She usually went right to sleep. I'm really nervous about what to expect. Should I swaddle her the first night? Please share your experiences. I want to know how it went! I hope it won't be too bad
