Proud but also embarrassed...?

I'm very proud of my grades this semester. But all of my friends from high school got like 4.0's so I'm too embarrassed to tell them. So I'm just gonna tell people on here I'm still proud of myself.
I got a 3.4 this semester and I worked my ass off for it. And I'm really happy about it. It's no 4.0, but it's still good.

Don’t be embarrassed! I’ll be honest and say I am one of those “4.0 friends”. I managed to get through my first 3 yrs of college with a 4.0. I got an A- last semester, so trust me when I say that it’s a billion times easier to lose than maintain 😂. 
My best friend does well but not a 4.0. And every semester she tells me her grades and I’m super proud of her because I know the effort she puts in and how passionate she is about it. Just like she is always proud and supportive of me. Any true friends will be the same. Never be ashamed of your hard work. If you did the best you could, take pride in it! And give your friends the chance to show you that they care and support you.

When you graduate, a diploma is a diploma. Your 3.4 degree is the same as all of your friends 4.0 degrees. No one in a job interview will ask for your grades. Ever. They’ll see you graduated because that’s what matters and that’s the huge accomplishment. Always be proud of your work!!

If you tried your best and worked your ass off, you should be proud af! You worked hard and did amazing💪and college and high school are two different environments in regards to rigor of academic programs, course pacing, etc. It's very often a lot harder to get good grades in college than in high school since you are now part of a pool of a select group of people instead of just a general population of high school kids. A 3.4 is amazing in my opinion :)
