Feeling frustrated!

So last month my cycle was really long. It's usually between 32 and 34 days, but last month it was 40 days. This month I started my opks on the same day as usual. I start on day 10 just to ensure I don't miss anything. Now usually I ovulate around day 22, but because last month's cycle was long I ovulated on day 29. This month I got my positive today, on cycle day 16. Now it's not even that I'm frustrated I got my peak so early. I'm frustrated because usually I get the blinking smiley face (high fertility) for like 5 days before I get my peak. This month I went straight from the empty circle (low fertility) to the solid smiley face (high fertility). I just wish my body would start to regulate so I could have some sense of what is going on!

Anybody else have really confusing cycles? I'm starting to feel really discouraged!
