Is coconut oil safe to use as lotion on baby?

Took my 4 month old for her check up and asked her doctor if I could use coconut oil on her arms and face because her skin is extremely dry now that it’s winter. She said no, and to avoid anything oil based. She suggested I use Aveeno, but I will not use that because of the chemicals in it. I want something natural to put on her.

I spent a good half hour reading all the labels making sure they don't have any shit in them and this was the only one I found that was truly all natural.

We massage our daughter with olive oil or coconut oil after her baths sometime. For lotion, we use Baby Dove lotion. We have also used Eucerin Baby Lotion.👌🏾

Well I made to my baby her own diaper rash cream since all the expensive and even cheap cream weren’t working from her. So i made it myself with beeswax, coconut oil and shea butter. It does result better then anything else so you should give it try if you feel like it :)

I use a combination of coconut oil and liquid lanolin on my baby's skin because we live in the desert and I don't want him to get super dry like I do sometimes.
I used the Shea Butter I use on myself at first, but since I mix oils into it he started breaking out, and I don't have any plain. Straight coconut oil dries my skin out and doesn't last long on him.  Mixing a little lanolin makes it thicker and last longer for me.

That all I use on my baby. You can try Shea butter, almond butter or any oil you like. Just make sure you try a little patch to make sure your baby isn't allergic.

All I use is coconut oil for him and myself. His skin feels so good was SUPER DRY and cracking😩. I literally put it all over head Down to his toes. I’m not sure why they said don’t use it.
