13w and brown spotting. Is this normal??

TMI sorry, I’ve been having brown spotting for 4 days now. I had an NT scan 12/26 and spotting started that evening. Twice there was red with it. I called the doc and they said to monitor it, wear a pad to measure how much, and take it easy. My anxiety is through the roof. Has anyone else experienced this and can give me some hope??

I spot all the time. Sometimes I go a week or so without anything. Then ill have light pink or brownish discharge for a couple days. I had a subchorionic hemorrhage in my first few weeks so docs always say it’s cause of that. But even though it healed, I still spot. I wish I could give to a definitive answer if it’s okay or not. I feel we all have these same worries and anxieties. Maybe you should buy an at home Doppler to help ease your mind.

Was your ultrasound abdominal or vaginal? The vaginal ones can cause irritation of the cervix which could cause brown spotting.
