Dinner for a friend?

So I have a friend coming over in like an hour and maybe an hour.

before I agreed to them coming over I started making a spaghetti sauce for spaghetti cuz I've been craving it lol

Is it weird to like offer them food without even telling them I'm making food 😂😂 I dunno it's been a while since I've had a friend come over so 🤦

I'm sure it's fine and maybe I'm overthinking and panicking ??

Ugh I just hope it tastes good or else I'll feel like a super failure
