Any first time moms going through the same thing with their husbands?

Question

Me and my husband are not too young to have our first baby. I'm 25 hes 26. We must got married and are going on 7 years being together. We talked about having a baby after we got married all the time and knew we would try right after. Well we got pregnant right away! 
Anyways, a lot of friends arent in the same stage as us. They arent ready for kids and arent having kids. If they arent as financially stable as us they are arent in a stable relationship. 
My husband wants to still go out drinking ALLL the time. Before I was pregnant I obviously did to. And it's like he doesnt understand why I dont want to go? And it turns into fights. I usually go because I worry about him drinking to much and driving. It's not fun when your pregnant to freeze your ass off around a fire, watch drunk people, while everyone around you is smoking cigarettes, and if you go inside it smells like weed (ugh). 
Right now I was asking if he wanted to get a movie and he wants to go a brewery in town instead and got irritated that I would rather not go. 
Any advice???? I keep telling him that it not fun for me and keep mentioning were having a baby your not gonna be able to do stuff like this anymore. I try to ask if he wants to do other stuff that's better for me like going to the movies and he usually denies it. Always says he needs to get out of the house in general and when I mention doing other things he says he just doesn't want to do that. 
It's frustrating I dont want him thinking he can party all the time when the baby comes. 
Hopefully... when I'm actually showing (almost 14 weeks and barely nothing) or as we get closer it will feel more real for him at least. Sorry for the long ass post lol

I would suggest you guys speaking about what could harm the baby at appointments and hear the response directly from the doctor. Maybe that will help

I can't relate now as I'm older but when I was your age I partied a lot too so did all of my friends. One thing I noticed is most men start to chill between 28-30 and really grow up so hopefully it's a phase and he will grow out of it (sooner than later for you and baby). At some point it just gets old and really sad when you're at a club/bar drinking with 40 year olds you've already been drinking with for a decade. As for me my friendships didn't withstand me not wanting to party anymore but there were other contributing factors as well.

My husband wasn’t like this, but I am sure it’s incredibly frustrating. He has wanted to go out a few times with our second baby, which I don’t mind, but I don’t want to go. I think it’s smart to offer the alternative activities, and maybe you can help him understand that you’re trying to find middle ground that would be fun for both of you. Maybe have a calm conversation way before the weekend at breakfast or something and help him understand that you’re not trying to take away his fun, but that you literally can’t participate in those activities (smoking/drinking), despite not having the baby yet, which makes it a downer for you since everyone else is doing that. I don’t know where you live, but there’s a theatre in the closest large city to us that sells alcohol, but you can also just eat and see a movie, and they will serve dinner at your seats. I also do understand where you’re coming from even with the outdoor stuff, but maybe you can bring a warm apple cider or cocoa and have an activity to work on (I love adult coloring books). I say that because he’s right in some ways. Life changes a little once baby is born.

My other half is like this now I’m pregnant with our first. In fact he’s started going out more on his own than he did before I was pregnant. It has caused many screaming rows. It’s a bloke thing I get told. But that doesn’t make it any better does it? I worry he will leave me too much with the baby and still live a fun and single mans life while I’m stuck at home with someone I can’t even have a conversation with. I have been ill and less fun to be around but to me that’s when I want him there the most. Miserable going through that on our own. But I’ve had a serious word with him (more than once) and he’s going to try dry January, then only go out once a month for the rest of my pregnancy as if he’s going through it too. And he’s doing that for me. So it makes me happy. I think while there’s no bump they don’t feel every bit of nausea and twinges and back aches and constant reminders we are pregnant. So why would anything change for them right now?

With our first, my husband liked to enjoy his drinks —not all the time, but occasionally ending up with me cleaning him up and getting him in bed. His bachelor buddies influenced him greatly. It was a real drag for sure and his excuse was “I just want to get it out of my system before she gets here.” SO annoying! It cooled down shortly after our daughter was born and he realized she was fully dependent on the love and care of her parents. Maybe a couple breakdowns on my end too. He still likes to have a good time, but he’s a lot more responsible! Which is nice. I’m probably no help to you, but I hope something clicks for him eventually! Patience. There are a lot of changes happening in his life with this baby too. Men deal differently.

I can relate my first pregnancy my husband wanted to go to his friends every weekend and they always get drunk and play cards against humanity... that is a terrible game to sit through sober! Nothing is funny and I always just got annoyed at their stupid inside jokes. My husband did grow up and we stopped going so much and now he is super focused on family stuff
