They say when youre in labor "you just know".. was this statement true for you?

Not me, but a manager of mine decided to head to a hosptial because she felt decreased movement all day. She started to worry and just went to the closest hospital (not where she was suppose to deliver) and was informed she was dilated to a 9. She didnt feel any contractions at all. She had her daughter within a few hours. So some people dont know.

Haha I had zero clue I was in labor until my water randomly broke... even then I didn’t have contractions for 2 hours (that I could feel). We did go in when my water broke because the on call dr told us to and I was already at 4cm

Was induced with my first so that doesn’t count. With my second when the first contraction hit, I knew it was real. Same with my third, I was in denial because my husband was staying at his job site that particular night 30 plus minutes away, but I knew. Both days I had an an intuition that, that was going to be the day.
