Can I check in baby?

If I took a warm warm bath not hot where my skin turned pink but how would I be able to check if my baby is fine?

There is current research that says as long as your core body temp doesn’t reach 102, you’re fine. NOT the water, your personal core body temp. They studied women in hot tubs and saunas, not even a simple hot bath that cools off over time, and not a single one’s core temp was raised to 102. Enjoy your bath!

You’ll be fine. My midwife recommends baths all the time for stress relief and aches and pains. She never specified how hot or how long so I’m sure your baby is fine.

Baths are fine, even hot, the water temp doesn’t stay constant like a hot tub it immediately starts cooling so the likelihood of it raising your body temp to a dangerous degree is slim

I don’t remember where but I read as long as your bath isn’t much over your body temp it’s fine. 98.6 is an average body temp taken orally, internal temp will be anywhere from 1-3 degrees higher.

I've continued having baths since I found out I am pregnant.....I'm 13+4 now and have just cooled them down slightly. Midwife said it's fine, so happy days!

Baby will be fine... don’t make it too hot... only warm and no longer than 10 minutes
