Anyone TTC 4 months pp while exclusively pumping ?

I just started testing my ovulation about two-three weeks ago all negative :( I want to start in a month or two or even now but nothing. I’m still pumping and feeding baby just breast milk. I know that’s supposed to have an impact. No period yet. 15 weeks postpartum almost 4 months.

You are trying to conceive 4 months post partum? I accidently conceived 5.5 months PP because we were not tracking very well. And my cycle had not evened out, I had only had 1 period prior. They say it is harder, not impossible to conceive while nursing as your system will stay somewhat irregular for a time. Just a heads up as to what happened in my case, my milk supply had gone down a bit due to my work not being hospitable to nursing mom's unless you were higher up. But i still tried to pump every 2 hours on the dot. Then my son and I got the flu and he struggled to nurse. 2 weeks later I was pregnant. And I fought and fought to get him to nurse but he would fight me and gag or spit the milk back out. Even pumped milk he was spitting out unless it had been pumped prior to when we figured out I conceived (we did not know for almost a whole month). Turns out the flavor of my milk had changed with pregnancy and he could not tolerate it. That does not always happen though. They did say that if I wanted to keep nursing, if I could get him to that is, I would have to seriously increase my calorie intact. So long story short, it is possible to conceive that early, but your ovulation, if you are ovulating, can be all over the place for a while and hard to catch. The ovulation tests are great and I will be getting some as soon as my doctor clears me (I am 5 weeks pp from my second) but when in doubt an appointment with your OB would probably be more helpful.
