Just wondering...

For all of you who have another on the way...did you have a baby shower for your second or third?

I have a 2 year old and I will be having a little girl in April. We are very excited. This will also be my last pregnancy. I’m finding it a little odd that no one from my husband’s side or my side have come to me to ask about a baby shower. I think that maybe they think why have one since we already have my first. But I also did think they would want to throw one because this will be the first little girl in the next generation for my husband’s family.

Am I wrong for wanting a baby shower? I haven’t really discussed it with anyone because I feel it might be rude to.
