How to tell how far along you are?

BFP this morning, start of LMP was December 3rd, ovulated on the 20th, currently 11 DPO. Glow states my due date will be 9/9/19 and I’m 4 weeks along. Do you count from LMP or ovulation/conception date? I’m confused, thanks in advance!

In nursing school we learned about 
“naegle’s rule”
Take the month of your LMP (12) and subtract 3 = 9 (September)
Add 7 to the date of LMP (3+7 = 10)
Estimated due date: 9/10
The US will give you more accurate estimations of due date. For example, I ovulate late so my midwife moved my date based on ovulation, etc..

Doctors will always go by lmp (if it’s known) until the first ultrasound. If that scan suggests gestation is more than a week off from lmp, they will likely change your due date, under a week they often just stick with the date based on lmp.

You go off your LMP until your first ultrasound when they measure you. I measured 3 days ahead.

i actually went on a site for this it was called BabyMed and it was 100% right for me. 
but your due date can always change or you could measure ahead or behind. and that’s completely normal as well, but they will go off your LMP basically the whole time of pregnancy & ultrasounds, unless seen otherwise.

id go with glow’s estimate. they were a day off with my due date. they said 1/19, but due date is 1/20.

So at the moment, before my first ultrasound I’m what they call 4 weeks pregnant even though conception was approx. 11 days ago? I didn’t know they measured like that but thank you for all your advice!
