App vs. LH strips? Please help me.

Question

The app says I’m in my fertile window and that I’m due to ovulate in two days. But all my LH strips are coming back with a faint line indicating a clear negative. 
Could I continue to get faint lines up until O day? Or is it supposed to be getting darker already?

I always get faint lines and then, boom, it’s positive! It doesn’t gradually get darker for me. EWCM typically starts the morning of my positive test, too, so it’s usually pretty predictable that it will be positive. Don’t use FMU to test for ovulation testing...it’s best to test around mid day after holding your water about 4 hours to get the most accurate test. Also, remember the LH surge means ovulation is coming, not that it’s happening necessarily. You will ovulate 24-48 hours AFTER your first positive test.

Definitely use LH strips! The app is just an estimate. I always get a positive OPK on CD14, but Glow predicts it one day later. Also, get in tune with your body if you’re not already - any time you see EWCM, you should BD!
