Am I nuts to paint the kitchen at 36 weeks?

Question

I’ll wear a respirator with vapor cartridges and I’ve been removing wallpaper using a ladder and that’s been ok. The plan is to go slow and take lots of breaks. Got to do something with my time off and I want to get this done before the baby is here!

My doctor told me painting is perfectly safe as long as you are in a well ventilated area. Fans/open windows. I’ve been painting too. I’m sure with a ventilator you are more than safe to paint. Just be careful on that ladder 😬

The painting is fine, the ladder on the other hand probably not since your risk for falling is high. No one ever plans on falling

Kitchens are tough because of cabinets and counters etc, too much opportunity to get hurt in my opinion. A straight wall maybe  but when we painted the house, the kitchen was the hardest.

Painting is fine the ladder is iffy but again your decision. We painted early on in my pregnancy and my husband still wouldn’t let me use the ladder (granted I’ve had a lot of complications) but over all for the most part painting is a lot safer during pregnancy then it used to be! Just be smart and be careful . I’ve done multiple furniture pieces over my pregnancy as well an baby is fine!

Make sure someone is there with you just because of the ladder but painting is fine
