I went for the 1 hour glucose test when I was 13 weeks and the doc said I failed it and need to come back for the 3 hour test. My glucose was 150 after the drink, and the normal passing range is below 140.

I went back for the 3 hour test 2 weeks later and this time they said I passed, thank goodness. I asked what my numbers were. She said an hour after the drink when my blood was drawn my glucose was 154 and the normal passing range is below 180....wait what??

Why wasn't the range below 180 for the 1 hour test? It was below 140 after 3 hours 🤷 Can anyone help make sense of this?
