Normal/healthy/low risk pregnancies: when were you offered a membrane sweep?

Question

I’m due next Tuesday and I’m scared of going overdue as I don’t want to be induced and I don’t want complications. 
Just wondered when you were offered a sweep and if it worked, when did your labour begin? 
Going to call my midwife tomorrow to see if they will offer me a sweep before Tuesday!

My boy was born at 40 weeks exactly but I wasn’t offered a sweep at any point. Potentially because I never asked though?!

I’m going to be 39 weeks at my next midwife appointment. Had one yesterday at 37 weeks and no mention of a sweep what so ever.

I’m getting induced today due to GH but I would have been getting a sweep on Friday at 38 weeks exactly x
