Menstrual cups

So, I've done some research and decided to give the menstrual cup a shot. I have a few days before AF arrives and wanted to try it out. Putting it in wasn't too bad but taking it out was a different story. I was struggling to remove it. My question is for anyone who uses a menstrual cup. Is there any tricks for removal that are a little easier? It was like my vagina was a vacuum and the suction was making it difficult to pull it out.
