Am I being silly?

I feel like I dont get to feel sad or guilty or use the term rainbow baby because my miscarriage was at 6 weeks (missed it until 11 weeks) and I wasnt even that far along. Am I being silly for feeling this way?

Your feelings are valid. If you had a miscarriage, you had a miscarriage, doesn’t matter how many weeks along you were to validate that. You can call your baby whatever you feel like. Congratulations and good luck with your sticky bean! 😘

You can use what ever term you want and feel however you feel. When you want a baby, the moment you see the pos test, that bunch of cells becomes a baby. You imagine holding, feeding, smelling. You picture your future with that child. You lost the child you dreamed about. You are allowed to mourn it. Even when I was 9 months pregnant with my daughter, I shed a tear on the 6th of November, the day I lost my baby at 9 weeks 6 days. I hope you get your rainbow soon. X

You can call your baby whatever you want. We had early miscarriages too but either way we lost babies that we wanted and we were sad every time. A rainbow baby is for any baby loss from that positive pregnancy test till even up to 2 years after birth 💗 we have had 1 rainbow baby 2years old now after a missed miscarriage (carried 11w6d baby pasted at 6w). We are on a double rainbow baby now 11w (2 miscarriages around 6 weeks in the past year).

I know. I’ve never made it past 6 weeks. Multiple times. 
One of my best friends miscarried at 10w and I feel guilty about even talking about it all with her now. Like I haven’t had it as bad as she had. Really it’s just different.
