Hello everyone! So I have been taking the pill for about 5 years now. I started taking it when I was 15 and I will be 21 soon. I recently got married and want to conceive by the end of the year so I stopped taking BC. I have heard that it can take a long time for you cycle to go back to normal as I started so young and been on it so long I’m afraid I have done permanent damage:(. I see everyone on here talking about ovulating and their symptoms and everything like that and I feel like I have just missed out on growing into a woman.

My question is how long did it take for your body to go back to normal and what were you side affects on and off the pill
