Share tips on how you transitioned from giving milk from bottle to sippy cup!

My son never drank milk from a bottle, only a sippy cup. If I were you I would only give milk in a sippy and that's it and be done with the bottles. If anything, cut it down to only 1 bottle with milk in it, then take it away completely after a few days.

Try a soft spouted sippy cup! Target has one from Munchkin brand that worked well as a transition. It took him longer to learn the straw

I have seriously tried everything and can not break this kid of his bottle. He literally will die of thirst before drinking from a sippy cup 99% of the time. The other day was the first time he has ever intentionally picked up a sippy cup and honestly I think he only was drinking it because it was his brothers 🤦🏻‍♀️

My little girl used a bottle when she was in daycare or with my mom/husband during the first year. My mom introduced her to straw cups (not sippy cups), and those cups with the flange (can’t remember the name). She never used sippy cups and still won’t. When I started weaning at a year, we tried replacing feedings with bottles of milk and she just wouldn’t take them. So she’s using the two different cups, and still won’t drink milk. 🤷🏼‍♀️ However she does use a pacifier. Babies are weird.

We went from bottles to the straw sippys at a little after a year when we switched from formula to milk. We skipped regular sippys altogether lol

We just started by giving milk to him one 'bottle' at a time in a sippy. It took a bit to find a cup he really liked and once we got down to just the morning and before bed bottle I took the bottle away completely. It did take him a few weeks to completely adjust but now he drinks a couple full sippy cups of milk a day.

We found a cup my son loved and had him start using it during the day. He uses nuk soft top sippy (he only has 4 teeth so it works for him) 
We use a certain one for milk so he knew what he would be getting in it. Kind of like he knew milk typically came in a bottle. He has never sat and drank a full 8oz at a time w his sippy like he did his bottle. He usually takes a few oz at a sitting so hes offered milk often throughout the day in his special cup to get to his daily amt. Just keep trying and dont be discouraged if they only take a bit at a time. Just keep offering and they will eventually take it.

When we bottle fed it was always me or my husband holding the bottle. We first went to straw cups but my daughter was making a mess so we got silicone soppy lids. We just have them to her and showed her how to tip them up to get the drink.

Try a transitional sippy. The spout is soft like a bottle nipple so they tend to figure it out easily.
