Trying to conceive for 2 years

We’ve been trying to conceive for two years now, a little over. In October I had surgery for endometriosis and cyst also had my uterus scraped. My period is one day late. I took this today at 1:00 PM. First picture was a few minutes after and the second was what the test looked like about 20 min later. My mom says it’s negative! Bc the test line should be darker than the control! I think it’s positive and I don’t understand. Please tell me what y’all think.
