Anyone else feel like your significant other hates you?

My husband and I have been together 10+ years, and he’s been so hateful to me this pregnancy. We already have a 2 year old, and this baby was planned, too, but I just feel like he resents me for being pregnant and being limited on what I can do. It’s also our second girl, and I feel like he’s just not excited. His best friend is having a boy weeks apart from us, and I feel like he’s more excited about his kid than ours. Anyone else having relationship problems so close to the end? Any advice?

My advice would be to schedule marriage counseling asap. You’ll want to bring in a professional for this - best not to let things get more toxic. Things will get hectic once baby is born (as you already know), so the time to start that conversation and book that first appointment is now.

Yeah counseling for sure. No- my husband hasn’t been an asshole or made me feel like he hates me. I don’t say that as in “ha-ha” but his behavior doesn’t deserve to be tolerated and you don’t deserve to be treated poorly. Whatever is up his ass he needs to deal with and get seen about it for the sake of the family. You’re doing nothing wrong. Rest and don’t let his passive aggressive bs intimidate you into not resting or into straining yourself these last few weeks.

That makes me so angry 😤 how some guys can be so antiquated and chauvinistic so as to not appreciate THEIR OWN FLESH AND BLOOD is absurd. Kick him in the butt for me.

Yeah, my husband has sort of been the same way. First pregnancy he was all about feeling our daughter move, talking to her, etc. I think he has felt my belly maybe once during this pregnancy? Also having another girl. I’ve had to lean on him a lot since this time around has been really rough so I also feel like he’s been resentful, especially when it comes to little things like doing the dishes, which is ridiculous. I’ve tried to talk him in to going to marriage counseling but he refuses 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thats sucks. I dont feel like my husband hates me i do know that he wishes i could do more. He always tells me he "cant wait till im not pregnant anymore because he needs his wife back."
