Dilemma

I was with my ex boyfriend for 4 years he dumped me via text message a week before our 5 year anniversary. He asked me to look into trading my car in for something else so he could continue to work I crunched the numbers and saw we couldn’t swing the extra money each month and couldn’t afford the down payment so I told him no. He dumped me and then cursed me out the rest of the day. Since I was at work all I could really say was okay. Well I finally had a breakdown and called him to curse him out. And he apologized and said he’s been trying to work up the nerve to call me and see if things could be fixed. Am I wrong for thinking about it? I know it’s stupid. I know. I. KNOW. Help me please 😭
