Hey ladies! So Im 2 weeks postpartum and this was my second c section. Does this look normal to anyone? My first used glue and by 2 weeks I had no tissue and tape showing like this time around. Think I should call my midwife or will it go away on it's own

Mine looked like this but it was bothering me so I went in and asked if they could remove the stuff still stuck to my skin, definitely have your provider check it out but it looks good to me. They told me I could remove it myself if I was careful but that was me definitely ask a l&d nurse or your O/B

My incision never looked like that 2 weeks post partum. I had staples and they were removed 6 days post surgery. Mine was just a dark red where the skin came together but no open spots or off coloring. The fact that it is so dark around the edges and I can clearly see two sides of skin with an opening would definitely make me want to get it checked out again.

I don't see any signs of infection.  Maybe they just used different glue this time?  It almost looks like you bruised a little which is ok.  If you dont feel right you can still ask your doctor about it, wouldn't hurt anything.
