Hospital or no?

I'm 10+5  weeks pregnant and was carrying my 4.5 year old down the stairs this morning. My foot slipped and I fell down the stairs, landing hard on my butt. My lower back and butt took the brunt of the fall. I'm cramping just a little bit, no bleeding. Would you go into the doctor?

No, god forbid there’s nothing they can do anyway. I’d rest, drink a lot of water and stay off your feet. If you bleed by any chance call your doctor just so they can confirm it’s not coming from the baby

I wouldn’t rush to the hospital but I would at least call my OB for peace of mind. Hope your 4 year old is ok also.

I probably wouldn’t. If there’s no cramping or bleeding you’re probably fine. Baby is protected. And I hate to be negative, but if baby isn’t fine there’s nothing you can do. If you personally feel ok I wouldn’t spend thousands going to the ER. I’d call your doctor tho and just let them know what happened.

Is the cramping new? I'd make an appointment and go in just to make sure everything is okay, but I'd like to think you should be fine. I'd be more worried if you fell on your front and your stomach took most of the hit.

I would call and tell your OB but I don’t think they would have you come in if you fell on your butt. Sounds painful though 😬
