What’s really the chances of having a period while pregnant?

I had sex december 6th, and started having pregnancy symptoms so I took a test and walked away and came back and it had a faint line but I am not sure how long I was gone, it might have been over the 7 min mark. And my period started yesterday I have really heavy bleeding and heavy cramps, but my partner is insisting I probably am pregnant and are just having a period while pregnant. What’s the probability of that? thanks for your answers ❤️

There’s no way you could get a period if you’re pregnant love. if you might think you are and you are experiencing heavy bleeding and cramps you should go to the doctor just to make sure it’s nothing bad. what concerns me is the faint line you said you saw. you should try to test again preferably in the morning when you haven’t been to the bathroom yet or maybe go to the doctor to be completely sure... I was a month pregnant already and still getting a normal “period”. The doctor called it “the last period” it hasn’t happened since then. It happened to my mom AND my aunt got a “period” every single month when she was pregnant with my cousin and he’s perfectly fine 🤷🏾‍♀️

It might be a very early loss/chemical pregnancy if the test was a faint positive, especially if your bleeding is heavier than normal. It happened to my friend in between having her 1st daughter and second daughter. She tested a couple days early,  faint positive, heavier than normal period started soon after.
