Why is my period late?

Update:got a positive test this morning on the “missed 8 days of period”. Awesome 👏🏼 
Haven’t been late in years. Currently by 6 days. Tested for pregnancy four days ago as it could be a possibility and negative. Where on earth is my period? I have no cramps, nothing. Sore breasts like a week ago but not anymore. 🤔

Are you having unprotected sex? If so test again in another few days, otherwise it's probably just stress or you could be a bit under the weather? Lots of things can make you late

I agree with other comments. Stress, excessive exercise, etc., can make you late. Try testing again soon as your Hcg levels may just be low when you first tested.
