Sorry, this is not a pleasant subject but just wanted some insight. I've had brown discharge with cramping the past few days and last night saw red blood when wiping! I thought that was it, I was miscarrying, so put on a pad and went to bed, except this morning there is nothing in the pad. I'm only 4.5 weeks which is too early to see anything on an ultrasound so my doctor has me doing hcg blood tests twice a week to monitor levels. Last test two days ago was good. I've had a missed miscarriage before which had no bleeding and needed surgery, so not sure how much blood is normal and when to worry. My doctor seemed okay when it was just the brown discharge but now I've seen red down there I'm worrying.
